Résumé : Dans ce bref article, nous tenterons
d’exposer certaines implications présentes dans ce
que nous considérerons ici comme la mise en représentation
du politique dans Writing Culture. Le but sera donc d’interroger,
à partir de quelques exemples puisés dans ce fameux
collectif, certaines conceptions du politique qu’on y retrouve
de façon implicite ou explicite afin de démontrer
que s’y joue, entre autres, une certaine aversion à
penser le politique, et ce, un peu paradoxalement, à travers
l’importance qu’on semble lui donner. De ce petit périple
au cœur de Writing Culture émergera deux fortes tendances
contemporaines qui provoquent inévitablement, selon nous,
une certaine stagnation de la pensée politique : l’accentuation
sur la réinvention de soi comme émancipation politique
(par la multiplication identitaire) et une certaine boursouflure
de l’éthique dialogique. Abstract: In this brief paper, we will attempt to expose certain implications of what we consider to be a representation of the political in Writing Culture. The goal is to interrogate, through a few chosen examples of this famous collective, certain conceptions of politics which are implicitly or explicitly present, thus underlining the fact that what seems to be actually played out, paradoxically, is a specific kind of aversion to think the political. From this little excursion at the heart of Writing Culture, two strong tendencies that provoke a certain stagnation of political thinking will emerge: the emphasis on the reinvention of the self as political emancipation (through the multiplication of identities) and a swelling up of dialogical ethics. |
